Select local artists have been invited to create art using the scenic beauty and authenticity of the 626-acre oceanfront Wolfe’s Neck Farm as their inspiration. The event features a tasting with Frontier Café and Gather Farm Fresh Eatery. Drinks and live music will accompany the hors d’oeuvres and will be held in the historic Mallet Barn at the end of Wolfe’s Neck. The event includes a silent auction featuring works from over 20 local artists, and follows with a live and lively auction of 12 pieces. A portion of all art sales will support farm-based education programs that help to connect people to food and farming in a meaningful way. This event is the first of its kind for Wolfe’s Neck Farm, and is bound to be an exceptional one.
Works will be submitted by the following local artists:
Signature Artists for the Live Auction: Linda Bail, John Bowdren, Marsha Donahue, Margaret Gerding, Lindsay Hancock, Suzanne Harden, Anne Ireland, Diana Johnson, Jack Montgomery, Phoebe Porteous, Liz Prescott and Ted Wengren.
Silent Auction artists: Ellie Barnet, Sarah Beard, Mary Berry, Sukie Curtis, Suzanne DeLessups, Julie Freund, Heidi Gerquest, Judy Kane, Jennifer Kimball, Marguerite Lawler, Lesley MacVane, Susan Metters, Arthur Nichols, Ceri Nichols, Anne Niles, Ineke Schair, Jenny Scheu, Judy Segal, Katrina van Dusen, Jan Pieter Van Joost Van Beest, Andrea Van Joost Van Beest, and Lucinda White.
