Historical Quilts: Patriots, Protesters, and Petticoats

January 17 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Stop by the library on Wednesday, January 17th at 6:30pm for a historical quilt lecture. Quilt historian Kathy Kenny will hold an interactive lecture focusing on four different Civil War women who made a difference – an abolitionist, a nurse, a teacher, and a seamstress. You’ll hear how each woman influenced and helped others during this difficult time. Learning about these women while viewing the 25 antique quilts Kathy will have on display will bring the Civil War to life!
