Freeport Players bring Carlo Goldoni’s classic from the commedia dell’arte tradition to the modern era… 1940s Venice, to be precise. Truffaldino convinces two travelers to hire him but must keep each believing he is serving only them. They both take up residence in the same inn, and the trouble begins for Truffaldino! Characters in disguise, absurd situations, and a comedy of errors will leave you in stitches. (The Servant of Two Masters inspired the critically acclaimed One Man, Two Guvnors, which launched James Corden to stardom and a latenight talkshow!) Not suitable for children and very serious adults!

Performances Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, September 15 – October 1.
No performance Saturday, September 16.
Tickets $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
Pay-what-you-want preview September 14. (Suggested donation $10.)

Directed by Dan Burson (I Hate Hamlet, The 39 Steps), the stellar cast includes Zac Stearn (as Truffaldino), Annie Collins (Beatrice), Peter Havas (Pantalone), Courtney Pomerleau (Smeraldina), Noah Bragg (Florindo), Jen Musick (Brighella), David Vincent (Dottore), Mika Gallati (Clarice), Elliott Nagler (Silvio), and Rose Humeniuk and Sabrina Small (waitresses/porters).
