Freeport Community Library will feature Janet Lawrence's meditative watercolors for the month of May. Throughout her life, Lawrence has always loved the arts. As a child, she drew the cartoons she watched on TV. She constantly sketched people or things around her. After graduating high school, she pursued an Art Degree at Daytona Beach Community College, and then transferred to the University of North Florida where she received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree. Exhibit Opening: Blacksmiths & Storekeepers 1770-1920

Attend the opening reception for Freeport Historical Society's new exhibit Blacksmiths & Storekeepers: Freeport Village, Crossroads of Change, 1770-1920. The exhibit highlights and interprets the changes in Freeport village over a century-and-a-half. High Winds Flute Choir
