A safe zone for creativity.
The Freeport Open Stage Coffee House is an opportunity for performers to get in front of a supportive audience of peers and fans. Past coffee houses have featured Shakespearean actors, poets, singers, songwriters, mimes, dancers, guitarists, harmonica players, and “house band” Crabapple Jam. Performers: sign up for slots upon arrival until schedule is full, approximately 6-minute limit (the equivalent of about 2 songs). Proceeds from the sale of baked goods at the coffee house are donated to Freeport Library for the upkeep of the library’s piano.
