Public Meeting: Freeport Cultural plan

The final draft of the Freeport Cultural Plan will be presented at a public meeting on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 6:30 p.m., at Freeport Community Library. Reinholt Consulting will conduct the meeting. A summary will be presented and the public will be invited to ask questions and comment on the core elements of the Plan. During the month of March, Freeport Community Library will be hosting local artist Polly Smith. Her exhibit is called “Around Freeport” as Smith lives and paints in Freeport and pulls most of her inspiration from these local landscapes. She manipulates layers of watercolors to get rich and interesting colors. Leo the therapy dog is a fluffy bundle of joy and loves to be read to! Kids can bring their favorite book from home or choose one from the library shelves and read to an attentive, loving dog. (Recommended for kids, but if Leo is free and no children are waiting, people of all ages are welcome to read to him!)
