To ensure continuing progress on implementing the new Freeport Cultural Plan, ACAF has hired Hannah Gathman to the position of Coordinating Director, Hannah will work with the ACAF Board in pursuing priority actions identified in the plan, including developing a directory of Freeport’s arts and cultural sector; working with stakeholders to cross-promote arts and culture in Freeport; and raising awareness of the social and economic benefits arising from an enhanced and vibrant cultural sector.
Hannah has nine years of experience in cultural programming, communications, and donor relations. Prior to moving to Maine, she worked for the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston, first as the Associate Director of Special Events and Outreach and most recently as the Director of Events and Social Programs. She has a Master of Science in Arts Administration from Boston University. She is excited to apply her skills to working with ACAF and the community at large to implement the Freeport Cultural Plan.
