(3/16) Freeport Community Library’s Armchair Travel series is an annual shared escape from the humdrum of winter! Local residents share photo presentations of their recent travels to a captive audience. The second talk of the series features Croatia. Join Lee and Lorann Burkhardt and their two school-aged children as they discuss the 6+ months they lived in Croatia from October 2018 to April 2019 as part of their 14-month sabbatical of traveling and volunteering across Alaska and 15 countries in Europe. They will also show a few glimpses into some of Croatia’s neighboring countries of Slovenia, Bosnia, and Montenegro.
