The Freeport Visual Arts Collective (FVAC) will be exhibiting at Freeport Community Library for the month of February.
FVAC, formerly known as the Art Guild of Freeport, has been in existence for over 40 years. It is comprised of both emerging and established artists who create two-dimensional artwork, photography, and sculpture. FVAC members, who live in the greater Portland area, learn from each other and experience the joy of sharing their passion with other like-minded individuals. They exhibit at several group shows annually, including Bonobo in Portland, Art in the Park in South Portland, and Freeport Community Library each February. Members also show individually at other venues across Maine. Members in this year’s exhibit include Caroline Payne, Janet Lawrence, Stacey Lodato, Gail Morgan, Lucinda White, Art Schaefer, Jerry Corey, Anne Ritchie, Judy O’Donnell, Suzanne DeLesseps, Sally Patterson, Jennifer Laughlin, Sandy Lemmerman, Janice Mitiguy, Louise Price, and Shelley Breton.
