Join Wolfe’s Neck Farm on their oceanfront nonprofit farm as they celebrate sustainable agriculture and the beauty and bounty of autumn in Maine! This wholesome family festival features activities and demonstrations, live music, haybale climbing, face painting, animal interactions, tasty local food and more. Wolfe Neck Farm runs their Pumpkin Hayrides during the festival – take a tractor ride out to their pumpkin patch and pick your favorite pumpkin (hayride free with admission; pumpkins cost $3-10). Music from Matt Loosigian, Steamboat Gypsy and Married With Chitlins. Demonstrations on making applesauce, seed-saving, spinning, beekeeping, food preservation and more. Food vendors Wicked Good Truck, Fishin’ Ships, Rolling Fatties, Love Kupcakes, Cameron Kettle Corn, Wolfe’s Neck Farm Snack Shack, and SPUN Bakery.
This is a great educational afternoon for families. The Fall Festival costs $8 per person (ages 3 and under are free) and all activities are included. Pumpkins cost $3-10, and there will be a variety of food vendors to chose from. Some vendors may take credit cards, though cash is recommended and there is no ATM on the premises. School teachers (Pre-K through grade 12) receive one free admission ticket. Members of Wolfe’s Neck Farm receive 50% off admission with pre-registration (among many other great benefits). Membership costs only $35/family per year.
