Lutenist Timothy Burris returns to the Library with a program of French music for lute and theorbo for the second half of the 17th century. Included are works by Ennemond Gaultier (also known as Vieux Gaultier), Charles Mouton, François Dufaut and Robert de Visée, among others. Dr. Burris has been a Freeport resident since 2013 and is on the faculties of Colby College and the Portland Conservatory of Music.
