Freeport High School students have been working since late summer to bring the musical Big Fish to the stage. Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the Columbia Motion Picture written by John August, the story includes two main characters, Will (played by Elias Thomas), and his father, Edward (played by Ben Monahan-Morang). Freeport High School Drama Department presents this year's entry in the Maine Principal's Association's One-Act Play Festival. FHS has a long, successful tradition of sending student-written work to the festival. The performances at FPAC give the students a chance to perform the work and get audience before the festival. Audience comments are used to improve the performance before they present it to the festival judges.
