Author Cindy Ross will give a talk on her experiences trekking North America's wilderness by bicycle and on foot. Her books include A Woman’s Journey on the Appalachian Trail and The World is our Classroom. Her latest book, Scraping Heaven -- A Family’s Journey Along the Continental Divide (McGraw-Hill) chronicles a five-summer, 3100-mile family trek over the rooftop of North America. The L.L. Bean Lecture series continues Friday evenings through April 26.

The library will be filled with approximately 100 student works that fall into one of four categories: drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography.
