Celebrate arts and culture at FebFest!
Greater Freeport’s FebFest of Arts and Culture is a month-long movable feast of visual, performing, and literary arts and history and heritage. Independent presenters work together under the FebFest banner to showcase the richness of the local arts and cultural community and the creativity and talent on offer in Greater Freeport. FebFest opens this hidden cultural treasure trove just in time to put some spring into the winter doldrums.
The 2019 festival included 16 events and 2 month-long exhibits from 14 different presenters at 11 different venues. Among them were the Open Stage Coffee House, Art Guild of Freeport exhibit, Flavors of Freeport, concerts by local bands, performances at Freeport Middle School, a screening of the documentary film Tomorrow, the return of the Pine Tree Academy and Coastal Winds pops concert, and so much more.
